CTGT Secures $7.2M to Transform AI Model Training

Young Founders Aim to Make Enterprise AI Faster, Cheaper, and More Accessible

The AI industry is booming, but training machine learning models remains a major challenge for businesses. It requires huge datasets, high computational power, and specialized enterprise, making it costly and time-consuming. That’s where CTGT, a rising startup founded by Cyril Gorlla and Trevor Tuttle, is stepping in.

The San Francisco-based company has just secured $7.2 million in seed funding to revolutionize how enterprises train AI models, making the process faster, most cost-effective, and scalable.

The Big Vision: Simplifying AI Training for
Enterprises

CTGT was built on a simple yet powerful idea: AI should be easy to train and deploy, even for companies without a deep technical team.

Traditionally, businesses wanting to use AI must either:

  • Rely on pre-trained models, which may not fully meet their needs.
  • Hire a team of AI engineers to build models from scratch- an expensive and slow process
  • Spend millions on computing resources to train large-scale models.

CTGT solves this problem by offering an automated AI training platform that allows enterprises to:

  • Fine-tune existing AI models with smaller datasets.
  • Reduce costs by optimizing computing power.
  • Deploy AI solutions faster without a large in-house data science team.

By eliminating the barriers to AI adoption, CTGT is democratizing AI training, making it accessible to businesses of all sizes.

Meet the Founders:

From Y Combinator to AI Disruptors

Cyril Gorlla and Trevor Tuttle, both 23-year-old entrepreneurs, met while participating in Y Combinator’s accelerator program, where they saw common pain points among AI-driven businesses:

AI training was too complex and expensive for most companies.

“We saw a massive gap in the market,” says Cyril Gorlla, CEO of CTGT. ”Companies wanted to build their own AI models, but they didn’t have the resources or expertise. We knew there had to be a better way.”

Their solution? A streamlined AI training platform that makes it easy for enterprises to train and customize AI models without deep technical knowledge.

Since its launch, CTGT has already attracted the attention of major players in the AI space, proving that its vision is more than just an idea- it’s a necessity.

The $7.2M Funding & Investors Betting on CTGT

CTGT’s seed round was led by Google’s Gradient Ventures, a VC Fund specializing in AI investments.

Other major backers include:

The funding will allow CTGT to:

  1. Expand its engineering team to enhance the AI training platform
  2. Scale its operations and onboard more enterprise customers
  3. Invest in R&D to improve model efficiency and training speed

Why CTGT’s AI Training Model Matters

AI is becoming an essential tool in industries like finance, healthcare, e-commerce, and cybersecurity. However, businesses often struggle to implement AI solutions because of technical and financial barriers.

CTGT’s  technology is poised to change the game by:

  • Allowing companies to train AI models by fewer resources
  • Making AI more adaptable and personalized
  • Helping businesses cut costs while staying competitive

This shift could lead to wider AI adoption across industries, making AI powered innovation more widespread and efficient

What’s next for CTGT?

With fresh funding and strong investor backing, CTGT is ready to scale. The company plans to roll out new features and integrations, expand its customer base, and continue pushing the boundaries of AI model training.

As businesses increasingly turn to AI for efficiency and automation, startups like CTGT will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of AI technology.

One thing is clear: CTGT isn’t just building a product – it’s creating a movement to make AI faster, smarter and more accessible for businesses worldwide.
